September 26th, 2026 Jurong Lake Gardens Mid-Autumn Festival! - 10 members, 8 telescopes
A great night to be back after two consecutive weeks of having to cancel due to the awful haze the past couple of weeks. Our community got together to capture the Harvest Moon for the Mid-Autumn Festival! With all the telescopes on deck today, we managed to get away with some awesome captures of Saturn too!
September 12th + 19th, 2026 - Postponed due to haze!

Despite the cloudy and hazy skies (once again!), our members were able to capture some awesome deep-sky objects, such as the NGC 6781 and the Lagoon Nebula! Not to mention, uncle Moo, Uncle Alvin, and Flora--our mentors--were able to guide our members through using a visual scope through Singapore's cloudy skies!

Wow. While only our third session, we've doubled in members since our last session! Unsuprisingly, Singapore's clouds were unfavorable towards us, but the Moon and Venus still looked stunning today; best of all, we were able to a lot of our mentors' telescopes on the hands of our first-timers who were new to astronomy!

Our group got to see Venus through a visual telescope Flora had brought, learned how to shoot the moon and stars on smart-telescopes, and learn about mentors' rigs, like Moo's and Nicholas'. Not to mention, two other groups on the field actually came over and checked out Venus through our visual scope!

First session was a blast! Two uncles from Sengkang neighborhood was nice enough to come by to join us, and bring their advanced setups with them. On top of getting a pretty great turnout, an AstroYouth member, Aarav, had his 'First Light,' the Lagoon Nebula!
